One of Nature's Wonders

My son and his family sent me Stargazer Lilies for Mother's Day. Absolutely gorgeous! I've loved watching the three different types bloom, and the fragrance is out of this world. Two of these popped open today.

My Town - Boise

I love this time of year. Lots of Lilacs in bloom, beautiful skies, poofy clouds, perfect weather. This is a view of downtown from the train depot.

Boise Train Depot

This is part of the grounds around The Boise Train Depot. So beautiful ... almost feels like you're in the forest. It's actually pretty much in the middle of town.





Of course, what would a train depot be without a train??

Spring ... finally!

Last year about this time, my kids planted a lilac bush for me for Mother's Day. It's very happy in its new home :)

At least it's Spring somewhere ...

Just returned from Southern California where, even though the weather was a bit on the cloudy/cool side, so many flowers are in bloom, and the colors are incredible. Of course, flowers are pretty much in bloom all year round there, but certain ones only bloom in the spring. Saw a couple that I had not seen before when visiting that were in full color.

First Snow

I love the first snow of the season. For me, it's like a big cozy white blanket :)
