I’ve tried several different photo hosting sites, but was never quite satisfied, until about a year ago, I stumbled upon Smugmug. There are three options for signing up: Standard, Power and Pro. Each level gives you a few more features and more customization. But all levels offer unlimited storage and more than generous bandwidth per month. They offer nice full screen slideshows and print ordering, and with the Power and Pro accounts, a highly customizable look.

I’ve known first-hand that Smugmug’s customer service is top notch, and second to none. This fact was even more emphasized in this forum thread at DigitalGrin.

A prospective customer asks about hosting more than 2 Terabytes of photos. Wow - now THAT is a lot of photos! The response from the Smugmug folks was what I expected from a service as good as this. Yes, they are more than happy to handle it for him - at no extra cost!

As stated by Smugmug, this would amount to an initial investment of about $20,000 on their part, in servers, infrastructure and storage costs - and are in the process of setting that up. That will not only allow this person to upload his thousands of photos, but will benefit all Smugmug users at the same time. Talk about customer service!
